te-hurt.jpg Wounds of the past As i gaze in amazement Through the blaze in the haze I crushed Remembering on how i bruised The wounds of the past that won't heal I tried to hesitate But my intense emotions held me back I remember when you were sober You promised to keep it for eternity I tried to run away from my emotions But they caught up My heart pondering blood Throug my veins My mind telling me otherwise As my emotions combined to form a compound I reliazed that i played I was played to be a fool Strangled by fear Trapped by my emotions My soul shattered with fear The pain and and suffering humanity caused me My life scattered with shadows Shadows of the past Haunting what used to be a peaceful soul Shadows of fear and hatred of the human kind Why is it so hard to heal the wounds of the past??
